Thank you so much for booking your Christmas Barn Mini Shoot, I’m excited to welcome you to the barn for a festive photography experience!

Here are some more details to help you prepare for your Mini Shoot….

BEFORE YOUR CHRISTMAS BARN MINI SHOOT:

When deciding what to wear for your shoot it can work well to choose an outfit that you love for yourself and then pick the rest of your family’s outfits to compliment. The barn is very natural and rustic so earthy colours will work well; browns, creams, greens, khakis, burgundy. Cosy knitwear, faux fur and patterns such as checks and tartan are great for the festive season and embracing the cosy vibe with wool coats, woolly hats, scarves and gloves!

Feel free to send me pictures of outfit choices and I can advise on what will work best.

Welders Lane is a very thin country lane with passing places. Rhyswytch Wood is opposite a house called ‘Thatches’ and is at the Chalfont St Peter end of Welders Lane, approx. 100m from the junction with Narcot Lane/Grove Lane. The name of the house ‘Thatches’ is on the grey wooden gates, and it is the only thatched house on the road. There is a red-letter box on the pillar and entrance to Rhyswytch Wood is directly opposite the house, these gates take you along a 10 mile an hour path to the woodland.

My assistant on the day will meet you at the gate to welcome you and let you know where to park, there will also be parking signs at the designated area. If you arrive early please could you stay at your car until your timeslot as we are not permitted to access the rest of the land, we are only permitted to be at the barn and firepit area, thank you!

You will then have your 20 minute Mini Shoot where I will capture a mixture of shots for you amoungst the twinkly Christmas trees and scandi star backdrop. If the weather is dry we can also capture some photographs toasting marshmallows by the firepit and warm up with hot chocolates to finish your Christmas Barn Mini Shoot!

As the barn is sheltered we will be able to go ahead no matter what the weather.

(The site is shared with dog trainers so we will need to be mindful of them and children will need to be quiet when the dogs are arriving and leaving. Just so that you are aware the toilet facility available is a compost toilet which is located behind the barn)

AFTER YOUR CHRISTMAS BARN MINI SHOOT:

Two weeks after your mini shoot you will receive a link to your online gallery where you can choose 5 digital images with the option to purchase additional digital images and your full gallery
